Introduction to the job
Mirai Platform Agile Release Train (Hereafter: ART), also known as Enterprise Application Development Platform, is considered a homegrown platform. It is offered as a Service within ASML so that our internal customer teams can build solutions for their counter parts from the business’s end users without worrying about tools, licenses, setup, orchestrating the whole process. This ART was formed to support our internal customer teams across the organization.
Mirai platform ART has multiple agile teams, such as:
Platform Team
... - Hosting (infrastructure), Monitoring (App Health), DevOps Toolkit and more
Enablement Team
- Java Libraries, Spring boot, ASML Angular material Component library (Design & Development) and more
Customer Support Team
- Guidance & support on implementing Mirai applications
Application development Teams
- Self-managed development teams using the Mirai platform tech stack and the guidance to build.
Role and responsibilities
The responsibilities and activities of the role of the Mirai Platform engineer are diverse, they have to collaborate with various stakeholders like Java platform engineers, application developers from the
customer teams, chief product owners, system architects and several other engineers across from the core IT teams.
Their main roles & responsibilities are:
- Requirements assessment & stakeholder management
- Enriching the platform setup with the new functionalities and features
- Expert advice & services
- Life cycle management of the platform
- Supporting the customer teams (Incident handling)
