Are you looking for a new position as a Scientist within a clinical affairs environment? Do you have experience delivering key technical reports under MDR and IVDR regulations?
We are recruiting for a Scientist to support our clients team with timely delivery of key technical reports under the MDR and IVDR for their products to enable CE/CA marking and the selling of medical devices in the EU/UK.
We are looking for someone who is keen to develop their skills in scientific writing, data analysis, understanding the clinical requirements of the regulations, and production of reports and impactful presentations of your findings
The successful candidate will be based at our client's Witney site, working 37.5 hours per week on an initial 12 month contract basis. Potential to be extended or become a permanent position.
This role is highly reactive and varied, and the responsibilities move with business needs, however key responsibilities in this role, include:
- Collation and appraisal of clinical evidence
- Scientific literature reviews
- Writing technical product summaries, competitor products and subsequent preparation of reports for Performance/Clinical Evaluation and Post-Market Performance/Clinical Follow-Up.
Applicants will need:
- A higher education qualification in a technical or scientific discipline
- Proven experience of critical thinking and the ability to consolidate this through effective technical writing
- Good communication skills, especially scientific writing, and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to multiple changing priorities and deadlines
- Experience with medical devices / regulated environment would be beneficial
