We are looking for a passionate Class Teacher to lead an Enhanced Provision group in a vibrant location. As the Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing a specialised curriculum for a select group of students with unique challenges. Your main responsibilities will include designing engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of each student and creating a nurturing atmosphere to support their growth and development.
An independent specialist day school offers tailored education for boys and girls with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs aged 5-18. With small class sizes, the school provides a nurturing environment and is part of a leading education provider for children with special needs. They focus on holistic student development, fostering positive relationships, and delivering a diverse and stimulating curriculum.
Role and Responsibilities:
... - Design and deliver customised lessons to cater to the individual needs of students within the Enhanced Provision group.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, senior leaders, and support staff to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Implement effective strategies to cultivate positive behaviour and emotional well-being among students.
- Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and assist in their academic and personal advancement.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with parents and caregivers to enhance student success.
Requirements:
- Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a must.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Available for full-time work during standard hours, Monday to Friday.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
