Responsibilities
The Safety Training Coordinator is responsible for:
- Handling all road tests and driving evaluations for new and existing company drivers
- Review driver applications, support with recruitment and onboarding a new drivers, organize orientation classrooms
- Organize and partake in the quarterly driver trainer meetings
- Ensure compliance within HOS regulations
- Identify driver violations and issue reports, support with compliance team on accident reports
- Support with driver logbooks
- Maintain driver employee files
Qualifications
- Valid class AZ driver's license / Class 1 drivers license
- Some type of office clerical / teaching experience is an assett
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great attention to detail, good time management and organizational skills
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Canadian and US highways, safety and security practices - CVOR, US DOT FMCSR, Hours of Service, CSA, Load Securement, HazMat/Dangerous Goods, C-TPAT/FAST
