The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Supervisor to oversee a team in delivering road construction and maintenance projects. As Supervisor, you will lead your team in all aspects of project programming, scheduling, safety, quality control, and client relations. You will be a key liaison between the company, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the team to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met
- Oversee project programming, planning, and scheduling
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors
- Monitor safety protocols and ensure adherence to WHS guidelines
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders
- Manage and resolve any issues affecting crew morale and project progress
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Experience in roadworks and earthworks (stabilisation experience preferred)
- Current unrestricted Class C Australian Driver’s License (HR preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Commitment to safety and work standards
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage multiple tasks
- Willingness to travel to various project locations across New South Wales
