Team Leadership and Development:
- Cultivate a high-functioning, collaborative team environment.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities.
- Manage staffing needs and resource allocation to optimize team performance.
Project Management Excellence:
- Work closely with other Managers to align engineering efforts with organizational goals.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects
- Implement project management best practices including clear scope definition, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
-Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, owning programs of work, and ensuring exceptional service.
- Actively pursue new leads and opportunities to grow our infrastructure projects portfolio.
- Participate in proposal development and strategic initiatives.
Strategic and Financial Oversight
- Contribute to quarterly financial forecasts and provide input for strategic planning.
- Drive initiatives that promote the financial health of the company.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution with Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in good standing with APEGA (additional provincial registrations are considered an asset).
15+ years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of successfully managing civil infrastructure projects .
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for mentorship and building high performing teams.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Summary
This position requires a strong background in Civil Oil/Gas projects in an EPCM environment.
