With an opportunity to work across both our Education, Early Start and Prevention service area, as well as Children's Social Care. Some of our projects include the implementation and roll out of a social care practice model across the service, and with partners, supporting the development and introduction of new services to children, and helping to embed key strategies along with many more child focused projects.
The work will be varied and exciting, your role will enable you to drive service improvement and build up your knowledge and experience across many areas of Children's Services, more importantly the role will be extremely rewarding, as our changes will mean we offer better services to children, young people and families across the Borough.
What you'll need
As Project Manager you will lead and drive both small and large projects across the Children's Services Development Plan, support and mentor staff and allocate work where necessary. Your project skills will enable you to support and challenge progress effectively, ensuring we deliver good quality, inclusive and collaborative projects on time.
You will need to bring with you your project skills and experience, so that you can hit the ground running; In this role, your talent for communication and negotiation will be as important as your skills in organising and problem solving. You will need to prioritise your workload effectively, report to key Workstreams and other meetings, and build effective working relationships with managers, internal colleagues and partners.
