The organisation is currently recruiting for an experienced NVQ/QCF Level 3 qualified Children's Residential - Team Leader. They are committed to delivering the highest standards of care, protection and support to children and young people by facilitating their physical and emotional development through the application of care standards and all relevant guidance. they actively promote a philosophy of creating a therapeutic home environment that enables Young People to grow in all areas of their lives to develop to their full potential.
What you'll do:
- Guide and mentor a team of dedicated care professionals, creating a positive and supportive environment.
- Empower young people by promoting their growth and development in all areas of their lives.
- Ensure the highest standards of care are consistently delivered, fostering a safe and therapeutic home environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualised care plans and ensure the well-being of each child.
Salary and benefits
- Competitive Salary: £32,000 (including sleep-ins), (£50 per sleep, average of 10 per month), on-call duty (£50 per day), and overtime available

We are looking for:
- Experienced and qualified: NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People (essential) and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a caring environment with young people.
- Passionate leader: Proven ability to motivate and guide a team, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Committed to growth: Willingness to undertake further training and professional development.
- Dedicated to making a difference: A genuine desire to support children and young people facing challenges.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
Additional information:
- Rolling Rota: Flexible shifts starting at 10:00 am and ending at 10:30 am next day including sleep-ins and on-call responsibilities.
- Location: Burntwood, Staffordshire.
