About the Children with Disabilities Team:
The Children with Disabilities Team is dedicated to empowering children with disabilities and their families, ensuring access to the support and resources they need. As a Senior Social Worker, you will:
Manage complex cases involving children with disabilities and their families.
Conduct in-depth assessments to identify needs, risks, and care requirements.
Develop and implement personalized care and support plans.
Work collaboratively with families, schools, health professionals, and other agencies.
Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Advocate for children's rights and ensure their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
What You Bring:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker.
Current registration with Social Care England.
Strong knowledge of disability legislation, safeguarding, and care planning.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
