- Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan in alignment with government policies and internal organisational goals.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the public sector and with corporates in India
- Ensure sustainable growth by expanding into new markets/geographies in India .
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with government officials, ministries, and regulatory bodies.
- Advocate for favourable policies and regulations that benefit the company and the broader transportation/infrastructure sector.
- Implement robust project management frameworks to manage risks and ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and government agencies.
- Interact with Government agencies for tender bidding and convince them for securing the business
- Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources to maximize returns on investment.
- Drive operational efficiency and excellence across all functions, including operations, procurement and maintenance.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance project delivery and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.
- Build and lead a high-performing executive team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Promote a culture of safety, integrity, and ethical conduct throughout the organization.
- Closely work with CFO and Promotors and have road shows with investors and update them on the business
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading infrastructure projects in collaboration with government agencies.
- Extensive experience in government relations, public policy, and regulatory affairs in India.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Financial acumen and experience in managing large budgets and funding mechanisms.
- High level of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct.
