Responsibilities
-Supervision of the Accounting Cycle: Manage all accounting operations, including entries, monthly and annual closings.
-Financial Reporting Management: Prepare and present accurate financial statements that comply with accounting standards.
-Cash Flow Monitoring: Analyze and manage cash flows to ensure the financial health of the company.
-Budget Control: Prepare and monitor budgets, performing variance analyses.
-Team Management and Training: Supervise and train accounting staff, ensuring their professional development.
-Audit Preparation: Organize and prepare the necessary documentation for external audits.
Qualifications
-Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
-3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an SME.
-Knowledge of Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE).
-Excellent financial analysis skills and proficiency in Excel.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
-Team supervision experience.
-Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
