Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for chemistry.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and school improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective chemistry lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
