Le principal objectif de la personne choisie pour ce poste est d’encadrer le personnel de cabine et de mesurer et de favoriser son rendement en ce qui a trait aux normes établies relativement au leadership, au rendement, aux compétences en matière de service clientèle et au produit et à la prestation du service à bord.
La personne choisie aura en outre la responsabilité de promouvoir et d’assurer l’uniformité du service à bord des vols de haut rapport afin d’avoir une influence positive sur l’expérience client, de perfectionner les aptitudes en leadership des directeurs de bord et d’optimiser l’apprentissage et le rendement des agents de bord. Elle appuiera ainsi l’amélioration du produit et des normes de prestation du service et contribuera à notre succès dans les programmes d’audit de société aérienne comme SKYTRAX.
Comme il s’agit d’un poste comportant aussi bien des tâches à bord des appareils que des tâches autres que les affectations de vol, les semaines de travail varieront et se dérouleront selon des horaires et dans des fuseaux horaires qui changeront fréquemment. À titre de véritable agent de changement au sein de la Société, le chef de l’Excellence – Service en vol pourrait être déployé dans le cadre de différentes initiatives stratégiques visant à soutenir et à souligner le travail du personnel de cabine et à rehausser l’expérience client globale. En tant que membre de l’équipe de gestion du Service en vol, il sera également nécessaire de travailler en étroite collaboration avec les Bases du Service en vol et d’autres directions, au besoin, ce qui pourrait comprendre d’effectuer des tâches liées à l’exploitation autres qu’à bord d’un appareil.
Responsabilités:
- Inspirer la confiance afin de favoriser des comportements qui correspondent au Plan de vol d’Air Canada.
- Agir à titre d’expert en la matière afin de communiquer efficacement les raisons des politiques, des normes sur le produit et la prestation du service et des nouvelles initiatives de la Société.
- Assumer la responsabilité de la prestation des produits à bord, en faisant preuve de leadership, en fournissant de l’encadrement et en formulant des recommandations pour assurer le rendement du service du personnel de cabine.
- Participer à des initiatives d’entretien cabine et de restauration et à d’autres initiatives d’Air Canada visant à assurer la conformité aux normes de l’entreprise.
- Communiquer efficacement les raisons des politiques, des procédures et des produits de la Société, à bord et au sol.
- Agir à titre d’agent de liaison avec les Bases du Service en vol pour assurer la gestion du rendement et de la reconnaissance du personnel de cabine.
- Former et guider les membres de l’équipage dans leurs fonctions afin d’assurer la satisfaction de la clientèle.
- Être en mesure de soutenir la transformation de la main-d’œuvre pour s’adapter à des marchés mondiaux hautement concurrentiels.
- Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des approches créatives visant à favoriser la productivité et à rehausser l’éthique de travail des membres de l’équipage.
- Dialoguer avec chaque membre de l’équipage pour les aider à faire des choix concernant un plan d’action, les prochaines étapes, les jalons et d’autres éléments qui s’inscrivent dans le cadre d’un plan d’encadrement.
- Participer activement aux initiatives de reconnaissance du rendement de l’équipage, d’excellence du Service clientèle et de prestation exceptionnelle du service à bord.
- Améliorer la compréhension de l’équipage sur les aspects qui exigent de la concentration et de la formation afin d’assurer la conformité aux spécifications des services à bord.
- Veiller au respect de l’ensemble des normes et des procédures de la Société et agir comme personne-ressource pour le personnel de cabine.
- Mettre en œuvre et maintenir des pratiques efficaces en matière d’encadrement du personnel de cabine.
- Fournir de la rétroaction constructive et authentique en temps opportun, et répondre aux demandes du personnel de cabine.
- Favoriser un environnement de travail professionnel, sécuritaire, chaleureux et positif qui encourage l’apprentissage et le perfectionnement.
- Appuyer la gestion des activités quotidiennes, au besoin, et se tenir au courant des problèmes touchant le personnel de cabine.
- Assurer le suivi des progrès liés aux préoccupations et aux suggestions de l’équipage.
- Adopter des pratiques de leadership qui mettent de l’avant une approche favorisant l’excellence du Service clientèle.
Qualifications
- Posséder au moins un diplôme d’études secondaires
- Maîtrise de l’anglais et du français, ou d’une langue d’itinéraire, un atout important
- Habileté avérée à diriger, à motiver et à encadrer
- Expérience de travail à bord ou dans le domaine de l’exploitation du transport aérien, un atout certain
- Solides habiletés sur le plan des relations interpersonnelles, de la communication, de l’écoute et de l’organisation, et passion pour aider les autres
- Esprit d’initiative, débrouillardise et capacité à déterminer les tâches requises et à accomplir ces tâches avec le minimum de supervision
- Souci du détail et intelligence émotionnelle
- Capacité avérée à établir des liens et à développer un lien de confiance
- Capacité à bien interpréter les politiques, procédures et processus du Service en vol
- Connaissance technique des produits, des services et de la marque d’Air Canada
- Expérience de travail au sein d’Air Canada, un atout
- Capacité à respecter les échéances, à travailler sous pression et à atteindre plusieurs objectifs
- Grande souplesse et adaptabilité, afin d’assurer un service 24 heures sur 24, 7 jours sur 7
- Disponibilité pour voyager fréquemment
- Réussir le programme de formation des agents de bord et maintenir les compétences
- Réussir le programme de formation des directeurs de bord et exécuter les fonctions de directeur de bord
