Responsibilities
Duties include:
Stakeholder Engagement/Project Management Support
• Prepare and organize strategic engagement plans, briefing packages, and status reports on initiative progress, as required.
• Provide project management services for stakeholder engagement initiatives, including establishing terms of reference, project plans, identifying resource requirements, and developing key performance metrics to monitor project progress.
• Assist the Manager and Director in the development, standardization, and maintenance of project documentation.
• Prepare updates on the status and progress of the project as required, as well as identify issues, risks, opportunities, and barriers.
• Develop program recommendations and resources to support the implementation of stakeholder engagement projects.
• Provide direct support and coordinate meetings for internal and external stakeholder engagements and consultations, as required.
• Prepare and manage internal and external communications to stakeholders and vendors, including obtaining appropriate approvals.
• Develop a wide-range of program materials and resources to support project implementation i.e., information sessions, presentations, educational resources, etc.
• Model best practices and facilitate interactions for building and nurturing positive stakeholder relations.
Research and Analysis
• Undertake internal and external stakeholder mapping and consultation or engagement activities to clarify issues and obtain input.
• Conduct various research and business intelligence activities to support key initiatives, including proactive jurisdictional scanning.
• Consolidate research and program recommendations into briefing notes, correspondence or other project documents, as required.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
• 4 years of post-secondary education in business, public administration, social science, or other relevant fields, or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience developing change management deliverables, including Change Strategy and Plans, Training Strategy and Plans, Stakeholder Impact Assessments, Communication Strategy and Plans.
• 3 years of experience in project management.
• 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite tools.
Desirable Requirements
• 2 years of experience developing and delivering communications and presentations at multiple levels of an organization (e.g., Executive Management, Management, Program Sponsors, Steering Committee, Branch Managers, End Users).
• 3 years of experience developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships across the organization, including executive level.
• 2 years of experience in public sector procurement processes with an organization of similar size and complexity as the GoA.
• 1 year of experience using Microsoft SharePoint.
