• Implement and maintain compliance with the food safety and quality management system by reporting food safety hazards and quality problems as they arise
• Maintain product quality throughout all cellar operations
• Support and maintain compliance with all quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Work with the cellar and with the winemaking team to ensure product quality and production schedules are met
• To perform, continually develop and enhance cellar practices to optimise equipment, systems and personal effectiveness
• Ensure all cellar operation records are filled out correctly and in full as a true representation of the operations completed

What you need:

We are searching for people who are motivated, reliable, team-oriented and passionate about a career in the wine industry.

• Computer literate
• Logical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks
• Experience working in the agriculture/wine industry is an advantage, but not essential
• Forklift license is an advantage, but not essential
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 17.5kg
• Ability to pass a pre-employment and drug & alcohol testing
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts, 6 days per week
  

On offer are morning (7AM - 3PM), afternoon (3PM - 11PM) and night shifts (11PM - 7AM) which will progress into 12 hour Day (7AM - 7PM) and Afternoon shifts (7PM - 7AM).

Please note that the vintage period will be January-May weather dependent. You must currently be living in South Australia to be considered for the position.
