Category Specialist
Are you an experienced Category Specialist looking to work on impactful, large-scale projects? This role is supported by a growing network of experienced Procurement and Contract Managers committed to driving excellence.
Your new role will involve:
- Develop and implement effective supplier mobilisation and demobilisation plans, including stakeholder communications and change management.
- Manage procurement and contracts activities to support project delivery.
- Lead key negotiations and execute procurement agreements with precision.
- Oversee tendering and bid evaluation processes.
- Draft, negotiate, and administer contracts while resolving disputes effectively.
- Create forward-thinking strategies such as supplier consolidation and category management plans.
- Lead key negotiations and execute procurement agreements with precision.
- Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to build long-term partnerships.
- Apply high-level problem-solving skills to complex challenges.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years in category management or procurement across diverse processes and functions.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commercial, law or related fields (highly regarded).
- Proven ability to manage all stages of the procurement and contracting life cycle on a project basis.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills.
- Full working rights in Perth, Western Australia.
