Due to high demand for Caretakers, a couple of our local schools in Preston are looking for dedicated Caretakers to join our team and play a key role in keeping our schools safe, secure, and in tip-top condition.
As our Caretaker, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that your work is crucial to the smooth operation of the school, providing a safe, secure, and clean space for everyone.
Job Title: Caretaker
Location: Preston
Salary: Competitive
School: We hire for both Primary and Secondary Schools
Contract Type: [Full-time/Part-time/Temporary/Permanent]

- Ensuring that classrooms and facilities are clean, well-maintained, and fully functional.
- Assisting with setting up for school events and activities.
- Responding promptly to any urgent issues or requests from staff.
What we are looking for:
- Is Practical & Skilled: You'll be responsible for general maintenance, repairs, and ensuring the school's facilities are in excellent working order.
- Is Reliable & Hardworking: You'll be the go-to person for all things related to building upkeep and safety.
- Has an Eye for Detail: Keeping the premises clean, tidy, and safe for students, staff, and visitors.
- Is Team-Oriented: You'll collaborate with staff, students, and external contractors to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of education/employment history with any breaks explained.
