Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain JD Edwards software to established standards and specifications with appropriate documentation
- Participate in the development of initial project specifications
- Within a pre-defined structure, write custom business objects from specifications conforming to established methodology and standards
- Assist in maintenance and optimizations of JDE applications, escalate any issues requiring a change in application or system architecture
- Test, debug, document and implement both applications or UBEs and modifications to the existing
- Act as an escalation point for the Support team with respect to JDE and provide technical assistance and problem resolution
- Analyze end-user business needs and develop customer-oriented solutions
- In cooperation with the end user, test application to assure accuracy, integrity, interoperability and completeness to achieve desired results
- Ensure system integrity and assist with upgrades where required
- Conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required in a timely and professional manner.
Successful Candidates Will:
- Translate business requirements into accurate application specifications collaborating with stakeholders and key business analysts
- Design, create, implement and maintain integrations between JD Edwards and other systems in an API first strategy
- Write, test and implement programs using JD Edwards One Tools and other support toolsets
- Write stable, reusable code conforming to JD Edwards' coding styles and standards
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to JD Edwards' development and support activities
- Customize existing JD Edwards applications to enhance functionality
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of recent JD Edwards development and support experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of JD Edwards development tools (OMW, RDA, FDA, Orchestrator and API development)
- Experience with upgrades, migrations, and 3rd party integrations
- Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical mindset
- Technical skills such as SQL
Preferred skills:
- Experience with HRM and Payroll modules
- Experience with BI Publisher
- Business Analysis experience
- Reporting tool knowledge – DAS by ReportsNow
