calculation engineer.

As a Calculation Engineer specializing in Ansys software, you will work in the design office of our customer in the defense sector. 

Using ANSYS software, you will simulate : 

• Thermal, mechanical and electrical behavior of components and systems.
• Complex mechanical deformations and stresses.
• Interaction between different physics.

More specifically, your tasks will include: 

• Participate in the management of the calculation activity in collaboration with the team in terms of workload identification and use of (internal) subcontractors.
• Define modeling tools and types adapted to the context
• Prepare the execution of numerical simulations and calculations, mainly studies requiring Ansys.
• Participate in the definition of physical tests to calibrate digital simulation models.
• Take charge of modeling and simulation of explicit calculations.
• Participate in the analysis of calculation results.
• Prepare calculation reports, as required.
• Use these results to propose solutions for improving technical solutions.

• You have an engineering degree, in mechanics, electronics, electromechanics, aeronautics or equivalent.
• You have some initial professional experience (minimum 1 year)
• You are familiar with ANSYS software (numerical calculations and multiphysics simulation) (LS-DYNA is an asset) 
• You are fluent in both French and English
