Cables will be required to run new product developments with the aim of successfully designing & engineering wire and cable products for high technology applications like protocol communication, Ethernet/IP communication, high flexible cables that can contribute to the sales and profit of the organization globally in various countries, Familiar with EN 50288-7, IEC 60092-376, IEC 60092-353, IEC 60502-1, AS/NZS 5000.1 Etc. international product design standards and UL 62, UL 83,UL 44, UL 444, UL 13, UL 1277 Etc. UL standard. Proficient in EXCEL, CAD, SAP and other common office software. Project management skills, speed of development and the ability to coordinate with cross functional departments is very essential & critical for this position.
You will make an impact in the following way:
·Design and develop wire and cable products from customer specifications or sales department Requests
·Work with various factory personnel and cross functional department, to ensure the integration of materials, methods and tools necessary to bring new products into mass production.
·Manage the new product developments from concept to product launch of designing and developing a product and/or product families and ensuring all the engineering steps are followed correctly to produce the product successfully in the factory
·Produces together with the plant manufacturing engineer prototypes and takes care of a full product release which includes the data entry for the ERP and quality-systems and completing of the technical datasheet.
·Leading big project, localization projects, make project plan, communicate with multifunctional team, monito and ensure project will be finished on schedule.
·To provide daily supports to other departments like quality, manufacturing, costing, process engineering, materials.
·Assist manager to achieve department KPI and TTI target
What you will bring:
·Education – 4-15 years of experience in Cable development and process work & Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Telecommunication, or Mechanical. Must be familiar with MS Office Suite, CAD etc.,
·Markets – Must be familiar with Wire and Cable standards such as UL, VDE, IEC, EN, GB, AS/NZS. Good to have experience in international standards.

·Willing to travel as and when required.
