As a Buying Manager, you will
...
-Design OTB planning, assortment building and product line management
-Execute strategic category planning and buying activities to achieve sales, margin and sell thru targets
-Manage the promotional and all pricing activities, maintaining effective margin and price controls which maximize business profit
-Control on inventory level and stock clearance planning
-Manage seasonal launch plan, allocation, replenishment to stores
-Analyze consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends
-Liaise with other departments within the organization to ensure projects are completed
skills & experiences required.
-Degree holder from a recognisable university
-Min 8 years of experience in a buying or purchasing role, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
-Candidates from consumer goods industry/FMCG background are highly preferred
-Prior experience in working in multinational companies
-Strong influencing & negotiation skills with a proven track record in implementation of appropriate standards, specifications and agreements
-Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
