Responsibilities
Place orders for items that are below minimum requirements and according to stock needs reports. Issue purchase orders to suppliers accordingly.
Review minimum/maximum inventory reports on stocked items and recommend changes.
Coordinate and daily follow-up on delivery dates to align with production needs.
Report any deviation or potential plant impact to the Director of Operations Canada.
Regularly meet with Canadian sales teams to plan future needs.
Ensure confirmation of orders (delivery date, quantity, price) based on customer orders and/or stock requirements.
Plan incoming containers to minimize held volumes while ensuring availability.
Assist in verifying and matching documents.
Assist in processing invoices and reconciling discrepancies.
Assist in preparing cost analysis and consumption reports.
Data entry tasks.
Perform scanning and filing.
Participate in physical inventory.
Perform any other related tasks.
Qualifications
Bilingual
Notable experience in manufacturing
Purchasing of raw materials
Knowledge of chemical products considered an asset
