Responsibilities
The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services:
•Meet with business stakeholders for the purpose of eliciting and documenting data related business requirements into specifications for Power BI reports, user stories and conceptual models
•Facilitate refinement sessions, ensuring business needs and requirements are understood by the development team (data modelers and ETL developers)
•Collaborating with Power BI developers to ensure dashboards and reports meet business requirements and are optimized
•Lead communication and support users through the transition from Qlik to Power BI
•Work with data modelers to understand data requirements and current state with the source business systems
•Work with ETL Developers to understand data issues encountered during data processing
•Assist with defining an appropriate data reconciliation method (between source system and data warehouse)
•Write, plan, and execute test scenarios
•Assist with the testing effort and maintain documentation in the form of processes, procedures, and training material
•Work with the team to analyze, find, and validate solutions to complex data related business problems
•Data Mapping, analyzing, and migrating data from Qlik and other sources into Power BI, ensuring data consistency.
•Other related activities and deliverables, as required
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Skills
•University degree or college diploma in business administration, commerce, computer science or a related field
•A minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated experience providing consultation in the development of business requirements, as well as the delivery of business systems analysis, ensuring accurate consideration of people, processes, systems design, and technology
•A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience with the agile software development methodology in the capacity of a business analyst, exemplifying the Agile mindset, valuing psychological safety, equal voice, visibility, transparency, purpose and belonging
•Demonstrated experience with business intelligence (business performance measurement, balanced scorecard)
•Demonstrated experience with data management tasks (such as data governance, data stewardship, data quality management)
•Demonstrated experience with the implementation of data related solutions (data warehouse, business intelligence solutions, master data management solutions)
•Demonstrated experience in the facilitation of meetings and workshops
•Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, working with a diverse group of partners and team members while managing multiple tasks of varying complexities
Additional Qualifications
•Demonstrated knowledge of high-available banking and payments systems
•Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification in Business Analysis (CCBA) or other relevant professional designations
