My client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Channel Sales professional to join their sales team. This hunting role is crucial in driving growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the BFSI and government sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cybersecurity sales, experience with both channel and direct sales, and a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hunting and Acquisition: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the BFSI and government sectors.
- Channel Sales Management: Develop and manage relationships with channel partners to drive sales and expand market reach.
- Direct Sales: Engage directly with potential clients to understand their cybersecurity needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the target sectors.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Sales and other internal teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecast to the Head of Sales.
skills and experience required
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity sales, with a focus on the BFSI and government sectors.
- Track Record: Proven success in a hunting role, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Channel Sales: Strong experience in channel sales management, including partner recruitment, enablement, and joint sales efforts.
- Direct Sales: Experience in direct sales, including lead generation, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, including emerging threats, solutions, and regulatory requirements.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Self-Motivated: Highly self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
