about the company My client is the leading copper manufacturer company in Asia. Key responsibilities
- Participate in determining the company's sales plan and strategy and conduct market intelligence and research
- Identify and expand target customer segments and industries
- Develop pricing and business models based on client needs and prepare and submit proposals to clients
- Handle and overcome objections raised by clients, and respond and follow up on client inquiries and requests
- Respond to RFQs, tenders, RFIs, etc.
- Collate and submit sales reports and analysis
- Organize and present performance to clients and/or management
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and be responsible for accounts receivable collection and bad debt resolution
skills & experience requiredYou are welcome to apply if you meet the following requirements
- Degree / Diploma in engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of sales / business development experience in recycled / scrap metal / cathode copper
- Able to travel to overseas for work assignment
- Experience operating in a trading environment
- Existing contact (buyer & seller) in the trade
- Ability to create results from ground level
- Comfortable being an individual contributor
- Comfortable with the remuneration pacakge = basic x 12 month + commission (based on sales)
