Our client, the world’s largest geotechnical specialist contractor, is looking for a Business Development Manager for their Singapore office. 5 days work/week with 21 days annual leave, our client pays performance bonuses annually.
The ideal candidate can be a Senior Geotechnical Engineer previously who has a passion in fronting clients and someone who is good at presentation. The incumbent will assist in developing a client network, sourcing for enquiries and winning projects.
about the job
- Bring onboard new clients, projects and reach targets that hit defined sales and profitability goals.
- Gather market intelligence, develop client network, and foster strong client relationships.
- Maintain knowledge of industry and competitive landscape.
- Review of bid proposal from tender team and make decision in consultation with director.
- Serve as Bid Manager for large size projects.
- Work well with team members and other departments.
- Lead negotiation with client on bid and contract terms & conditions.
- Develop and protect company’s brand, corporate image, and reputation.
skills & experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 8 years of working experience (from either consultant or contractor background).
- Relevant experience in Construction industry especially in Ground Improvement works will be an advantage.
- Possess geotechnical design experience and competent to manage geotechnical solutions.
