We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive our growth in this market. If you are passionate about energy solutions and have a proven ability to connect within the offgrid space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to promote BESS solutions within the off-grid space
- Identify, prospect, and engage potential mining customers to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct market analysis to understand mining/agri/farming/wind/solar sector energy needs and identify opportunities for BESS integration.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineers, energy managers, and C-level executives.
- Present tailored solutions to customers, demonstrating how BESS can enhance energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and marketing, to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform sales strategies.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets while contributing to the company’s overall growth objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the energy, mining, or industrial sectors.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of energy storage technologies, renewable energy solutions, and the challenges faced by the mining sector.
- Networking: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred; MBA is a plus.
- Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
