Responsibilities
• Review “lift & shift” migration plans. Work with Manager, 1GX SP Migration to execute plan & support all 1GX staff & business areas through migration project.
• Collaborate with 1GX and TI CCS to gather requirements to identify SPO design solutions & enhancements following lift & shift migration.
• Validate files & data to ensure lift & shift migration to SPO was successful.
• Support analysis & build of 1GX site security permissions following migration & redesign cycles.
• Support maintenance of planning documents to ensure accurate & timely documentation throughout project, ie: SP Map Tool, site inventories, RAID Log, etc.
• Produce communications & PPT presentations that inform staff of project team, staff roles & responsibilities, timelines, etc.
• Guide business/end-user testing & quality assurance activities to validate functionality, performance, usability & security/permissions of 1GX SPO sites following migration.
• Perform business analysis of all migrated 1GX Sites to develop plans that include recommended site restructuring, archiving, & decommissioning of sites &/or records following GoA IMT policies & guidelines.
• Work with information controller(s) to confirm migration inventories & approve SPO redesign migration cycles.
• Guide business users on effective use of SPO for Enterprise Content Management.
• Guide business/end users in applying & implementing document classification & protection levels in SPO following migration & redesigns.
• Work directly with staff to maintain site inventories/environments during SPO redesign cycles.
• Identify, gather & develop end user guides & training materials that support end-users & administrators of SPO.
• Produce & maintain user guides, training materials supporting users via 1GX ticket triage & help desk services.
• Support resolution & communication of day-to-day business user problems that may arise following migration to SPO.
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
• University degree in business, management or a related discipline and four years of related experience; OR two-year diploma in business, management or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution and six years of related experience; OR one-year certificate in business, management or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution and seven years of related experience.
• Ability to learn quickly, problem solve, troubleshoot, work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage stress and conflict.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
• The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, management and vendors.
• 4 years of demonstrated experience with MS office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)4 years
• 4 years of experience conveying technical information to non-technical people and advising decision-makers on technical options.4 years
• 4 years of experience with business writing, communication and documentation.
• Experience with development and implementation of content management, document management, records management, information management processes in applications.
• 4 years of experience with information management concepts, privacy, and security issues relating to FOIP.
• 4 years of experience working closely with clients and performing at least four of the following activities - interviewing business clients; conducting impact analysis; planning, executing and supporting change management; developing communication plans; and developing vision documents.
