Responsibilities
• Work with business stakeholders to understand the needs, objectives, and challenges
• Elicit and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows
• Update existing or create new process documentation
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams
• Update existing or create new Standard Operating Procedures
• Collaborate with project manager, and prepare regular progress reports, highlighting key findings, milestones achieved. Identify risks and issues and report to the project manager
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
• More than 10 years of experience as a business analyst or business process consultant
• Ability to use creative thinking to solve challenging problems
• Strategic experience in designing approaches that deliver practical outcomes
• Ability to break down complex concepts and issues and communicate effectively to different audiences
Preference will be given to candidates with the following:
• Experience working for public agencies and/or social service organizations
• Finance background
• Policy or Legal background
• Experience in business transformation and/or business process improvement initiatives
• Familiarity with Financial Technology Business Solutions
• Experienced facilitator with the requisite leadership skills in business engagements
• Experience with financial data analysis/assessment
