I am seeking a highly motivated and experienced Multi-Skilled Building Services Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FM service provider. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of building services systems within my client's healthcare facility. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to healthcare operations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to extend the life of building systems and reduce the likelihood of unexpected failures.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to coordinate work activities and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards, particularly those specific to healthcare environments.
- Participate in shift rotations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to provide 24/7 coverage.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a healthcare or similar environment.
- C&G/NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical field
- 17th/18th Edition
