About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, manufacture, and maintenance of Brisbane City Council’s fleet of coaches and buses. Key responsibilities include:
- Structural & Body Maintenance
- Painting and General Refurbishment
- Collaborating with Trade Assistants and Apprentices
- Modifying Heavy Vehicles and Buses
- Fabrication and Welding Tasks
- Assembly According to Technical Specifications
- Maintaining a Safe Working Area at All Times
Key Requirements:
- Certificate III in Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations OR Certificate III in Automotive (Vehicle Body - Building).
- Proven experience in bus or coach bodybuilding.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Strong commitment to teamwork and adherence to safety guidelines.
