A well-established construction company is seeking an experienced Bricklayer to join their team in Kingston upon Thames. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bricklaying, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate high standards of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Laying bricks, blocks, and other types of building materials in accordance with specifications
- Constructing and repairing walls, partitions, arches, and other structures
- Ensuring the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of the masonry work
- Working on both residential and commercial projects, meeting project deadlines
- Collaborating with site managers and other trades to ensure smooth workflow
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bricklayer, with a portfolio of completed projects
- Strong understanding of construction techniques and building regulations
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying (or equivalent) is desirable
