As Billing Systems Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for operating and supporting Oracle BRM, (Billing and Revenue Management) focusing on services availability and providing great customer experience to internal and external customers. More specifically:

• Managing and maintaining Oracle BRM (versions 7.5 and above)
• Handling incident and problem management and analysis (Level 2)
• Coordinating with remote teams and vendors to resolve incidents and problems
• Reviewing deliverables from vendors and IT delivery engineers
• Executing project deployments and hotfixes in production
• Monitoring daily operations and reporting performance KPIs to stakeholders
• Participating in automation initiatives (CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring tools)
• Optimizing Oracle BRM components for enhanced performance and stability

previous experience as Software Engineer using Oracle technologies

• Build a strong understanding of the business processes
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Understand problems and be able to identify the root cause and suggest optimal solutions
• Self-motivation for continuous development

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or previous demonstrated work experience
• Prior experience in application development or operations in a corporate environment, ideally using Oracle Siebel
• Good knowledge of Billing Systems such as BRM or related
• Experience on using some of the below technologies: Oracle PL/SQL, Web Services (SOAP/REST) and integration with middleware systems (Oracle OSM, Fusion Middleware), Unix scripting, SPLUNK dashboards
• Experience in Telco industry will be an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both Greek & English
