Responsibilities
Budget and Travel Support: Assist the responsible party in reviewing, revising, and approving travel plans in accordance with budget guidelines.
Communication & Coordination: Act as a liaison between the manager, agents, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Identify urgent items and escalate them to the appropriate personnel.
System & Document Management: Review documents, ensure compliance with guidelines, and manage approvals for travel memos and budget-related materials.
Follow-Up: Track the status of travel plans, budgets, and related documents, ensuring all necessary steps are completed in a timely manner.
Administrative Support: Help with various administrative tasks related to budgeting, travel logistics, and office coordination.
Qualifications
Experience: A couple of years of experience in a similar administrative or budget coordination role, particularly within government operations.
Bilingualism: Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written).
Government Process Experience: Solid understanding of government processes and security clearance requirements (Secret clearance is required).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in systems such as WIKI, SIGNET, C6, EXCEL, and HRG. Experience with SAP, CCM Mercury is a plus, but not required.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relay clear instructions and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to Detail: Ability to prioritize tasks, evaluate documents, and identify urgent items for follow-up.
