Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for customers in Quebec, managing both verbal and written communications in French and English.
Work closely with the Quebec-based customer service team and the Controller to address and resolve customer account issues.
Execute collection efforts for overdue accounts in Quebec, ensuring timely resolution.
Release customer orders after performing credit analysis and other necessary verifications.
Assist in processing daily cheque and EFT deposits and maintain accurate AR records.
Support AR team with processing credit card payments, generating credit invoices, and preparing refund cheques as needed.
Assist with month-end responsibilities, working closely with the Controller, CFO, and external auditors.
Assist in posting cash receipts into the ERP system and reconciling accounts as needed.
Work with the finance team during year-end audits and liaise with external auditors.
Provide support in various ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks
Qualifications
Fully bilingual in French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience in accounts receivable and collections is preferred.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-focused approach.
High attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in data entry and comfortable using Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Team player with a proactive attitude towards resolving customer issues.
