Role: Bid Manager (senior)
Location: Southampton

Role overview:
As the Senior Bid Manager, you will be the lead for the project/bid team, to ensure that the bid is prepared in accordance with an agreed timetable and that it is complete and addressed in the Contractor's Proposals.
You will manage the whole bid process and ensure that you are regularly effectively communicating with both the client and customers.
Duties:
... - Assemble a bid team with the relevant knowledge and skills to prepare a winning bid
- Follow the agreed bid management procedures and ensure they are implemented at each stage of the bid process
- Chair Bid Kick off meetings solution development and mid bid meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop a tender period programme, communicate actions to the team and monitor progress
- Attend feedback sessions with the client and coordinate tender queries and amendments
Requirements:
- Proven experience as the Bid Manager with a regional / national contractor
- Experience of leading a bid team
- Experience leading the entire bid process
