Role Overview:
I am assisting a major contractor in the search for a Senior / Bid Manager to join their Southeast Construction team in Essex. As the Bid Manager, you will be focussing on high profile, complex and fantastic projects across multiple sectors.

Your day to day will look like:
- Assemble the bid team to prepare a winning bid
- Follow the agreed bid management procedures and ensure they are implemented at each stage of the bid process
- Chair Bid Kick off meetings solution development and mid bid meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop tender period programme, communicate actions to the team and monitor progress
- Attend feedback sessions with the client and coordinate tender queries and amendments
What are they looking for?
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Previous experience in Bid Management
- Previous experience with a national / regional contractor
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A technical understanding of construction schemes
