As a Banking Data Analyst, your duties will be the following:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements by engaging with stakeholders to ensure software applications meet user needs
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the feasibility and efficiency of proposed functionalities
• Identify and define both functional and non-functional requirements
• Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of features, enhancements, and bug fixes for software applications
• Create detailed functional specifications and wireframes, securing customer approval for timely sprint planning
• Participate in planning meetings, provide clarifications, and help set priorities for development
• Attend daily alignment meetings with the implementation team to ensure features meet business requirements
• Collaborate with the team to estimate the scope of future work and help plan upcoming sprints
• Provide ongoing support in creating and updating documentation related to business and technical requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in IT, with a focus on business analysis, tools, and methodologies
• 2-3 years of experience in the banking industry; experience with Data Warehouse applications and SQL is a plus
• Experience with business analysis tools and project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
• Experience with Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications Documents (FSDs) is a plus
• Strong analytical mindset, capable of synthesizing and communicating complex information effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership abilities, collaborative spirit, sense of ownership, and accountability
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is an asset
