- Optimize bed utilization: You'll be the key to ensuring efficient use of our psychiatric beds, coordinating patient admissions, discharges, and transfers for seamless care.
- Maintain a smooth flow of care: You'll collaborate with clinicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to manage patient transitions, ensuring timely and appropriate placement.
- Act as a liaison: You'll communicate effectively with patients, families, and external agencies to facilitate smooth and efficient care.
- Utilize your clinical expertise: You'll apply your knowledge of mental health needs and resources to make informed decisions about bed assignments.
- Embrace a fast-paced environment: You'll thrive in a dynamic setting, managing competing priorities with a calm and resourceful approach.
What you'll bring:
- Valid NMC Pin
- Degree in Psychiatric Nursing or equivalent
- Experience in a hospital or clinic setting, ideally with bed management or care coordination experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on clear and concise communication
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
