about the role
- Assist with Head Office Reporting, Management and Financial Reporting which includes preparation of year-end Financial Statements
- Maintain records of financial transactions such as Account Receivable, Account Payable etc when required
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Assist with preparation as well as review of MAS regulatory reports (MAS 610 and 649)
- Prepare annual Budget report for operating expenses
- Assist with taxation matters, including Corporate Tax and GST
- Support Department Head with process improvement initiatives
skills and experience required
- Minimum Degree in Finance & Accounting
- Professional certification i.e. CPA/CA, is a plus
- At least 6 years of financial and accounting experience within the Banking industry
- Good communications and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
