- Undertake care time reporting assessments. These reviews look at the accuracy of the reports providers have submitted through both desktop and on-site work at residential aged care facilities.
- Undertake planning as part of the creation and delivery of the program.
- Liaise with stakeholders across the residential aged care sector and represent the Department.
- Help maintain and enhance reviewee relationships.
- Discuss review outcomes with reviewees and prepare review reports.
Essential Minimum Requirements
- Formal relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or equivalent.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Sound understanding of auditing principles, practices, and standards.
- Sound numerical analytical skills, including usage of excel (pivot tables, etc).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- External audit experience (highly desirable)
- Strong ability to manage and develop strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed planning, and organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and work within tight timeframes.
