Job responsibilities of Concrete Laboratory In charge
- Candidate shall be Diploma /BE / Tech in civil Engineering of reputed Engineering college.
- Candidate shall have min of 5 to 10 years’ experience in concrete Lab / RMC Units worked as Quality control in charge.
- Candidate should be capable of setting up modern Concrete Lab independently with all latest equipment’s, calibration, etc.
- Candidate shall be working in coordination with CSS Head to help the clients. If required, he should visit clients’ complaints to solve the site problems.
- He should be in coordination with Institutional / RMC consumers to understand their site concrete performance in consultation with CSS Head
- Familiar with concrete BIS specification and their usage in concrete mix design
- Identification of basic raw materials like coarse Aggregate, Fine aggregate and suitable concrete admixture.
- Basic testing knowledge and their BIS specs of cements (OPC, PPC, Fly ash, ggbs), CA, FA and sand, working in close with Plant QC Head. etc.
- Knowledge of raw material Quality requirement as per concrete Technology.
- Expert in concrete mix design to cater to customer requirement at site application
- Basic knowledge in application of Concrete admixture and their consequences.
- Modification of concrete mix design with suitable W/C ratio and admixture for a given quality of cement MPB brands at site.
- Administration of Lab staff and their training in concrete mix design SOP.
- He should work with close coordination with plant Quality Head / CSS head.
- Administratively he should report to the plant QC head to Plant Head and work / study in consultation with CSS Head.
- Basic study: concrete mix design for M20-M60 with MPB products and competitors cement concrete for M20-25 grade and their interpretation of results.
- Monthly report on activities carried out in Lab / sites activities carried out to Plant QC Head as well as CSS head.
- Maintenance of Concrete Lab in consultation with Plant QC Head.
- Man power requirement / procurement / maintenance of any miscellaneous items for day today Lab activities shall be in consultation with Plant QC Head.
