Responsibilities:- KOL Development: Identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the assigned therapeutic area by leveraging a deep understanding of brand and scientific strategy. Plan and coordinate KOL engagements in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs. Foster advocacy and partnerships with KOLs to advance the disease area.- Peer-to-Peer Advocacy: Develop curriculum and content for commercial speaker programs that align with brand strategy. Manage the commercial speaker bureau and lead collaboration with speakers on specific programs. Support Sales and Marketing in program planning and execution.- Strategic Planning Support: Gain insights from ongoing engagements with KOLs. Collaborate with Marketing to gather input from KOLs on strategic topics. Provide the perspective of opinion leaders to shape business unit strategy and support insights-driven decisions.- Market Development Support: Aid in the development and activation of an optimal treatment ecosystem within the assigned therapeutic area. Partner cross-functionally to disseminate and leverage learnings on key account development.
求められる経験
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of customer-facing experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Significant experience working with KOLs and key accounts.
- Proven expertise in designing and/or executing commercial speaker programs.
- Strong command of clinical content and ability to engage in deep scientific dialogue with KOLs.
- Ability to form strong relationships and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Agility, action orientation, and a growth mindset.
- Comfort with change and ambiguity.
- Excellent engagement, communication, and relational skills.
- Passion for making a positive contribution to the rare disease community.
- A bachelor’s degree in science or other relevant fields.
- Fluency in Japanese and proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in brand marketing or other home office roles.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects with both field and home office members.
- Previous experience in rare diseases.
- Experience in the relevant therapeutic area and with associated customers.
- An advanced scientific degree (e.g., MBA, MS, etc.).
