Job Title: Assistant Site Manager
Location: Leatherhead
Salary: £35,000 - £46,000 + Company
Start Date: December OR January
We are working with a leading & well-established regional contractor based in Surrey, this reputable contractor is actively seeking to recruit a manager to strengthen their team due to growth & internal promotions. This business specialises in projects between £2 Million to £9 Million across a varied amount of sectors, this includes both new builds & refurbishment via framework agreements or negotiated contracts.
This business is looking to interview in October with an expected start date of December or January.
Role Overview: This business is seeking a proactive and dedicated Assistant Site Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Site Manager in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of construction sites.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Help to resolve any issues or challenges that arise on site.
- Ensure the site is kept clean, tidy, and secure.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
- CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid at Work certification (desirable).
