• Support in managing the complete set of accounts for a Group of Companies.
• Perform month-end closings and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Assist in monitoring and reviewing departmental variance reports, bank reconciliations, and supplier reconciliations.
• Contribute to budget analysis, cash flow management, project evaluation, and other financial analyses.
• Help prepare consistent, accurate, and timely management reports.
• Organize audit schedules and coordinate with auditors during annual audits.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain the accounting system.
• Ensure accurate recording of petty cash transactions.
• Assist with tax submissions to the Malaysian Customs Department.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, accounting standards, and requirements.
• Review monthly reconciliations and reports prepared by team members to confirm accuracy.
• Verify payments and invoices to ensure document accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor cash reserves, ensuring adequate funds for daily expenses.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Knowledge of accounting software.
• 4–5 years of experience managing a full set of accounts (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger).
• Strong skills in budgeting and financial analysis.
• Proficient in data analysis.
• Team-oriented with experience in managing a team and working across organizational levels.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent analytical abilities, organized, detail-oriented, and committed to deadlines.
