Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will have responsibility to support the Chief Financial Officer in managing the Finance Department for Indonesia. A key responsibility is to ensure timely and accurate reporting on all aspects of finance so that the appropriate strategic business decisions can be made. The position is based in their KL Office.
responsibilities
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of management and financial reports in accordance with established accounting standards.
- Ensure the prompt and precise submission of regulatory filings, including PB1, Withholding Tax, and Income Tax.
- Manage the full range of finance functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and daily financial operations.
- Oversee cash flow management.
- Conduct continuous assessments and provide recommendations to enhance financial processes and controls as the company grows.
- Prepare financial reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, and other financial and regulatory bodies as necessary.
requirements
- Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
- 4-6 years relevant experience with 2 years in a managerial role leading a team
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with excellent written & spoken English.
- Ability to work as part of team in a fast pace, continually changing environment.
- Ability to identify areas of improvement and to develop and implement process improvements and SOPs within the Finance area.
- Ability to ‘manage upwards’ and report directly and/or indirectly to the Managing Director and owner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office application, in particular Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of SAP ByD and experience in an F&B setup with multiple outlets is an advantage.
- Certification (CPA or CIMA or ACCA or relevant) is a plus.
