• Develop and oversee project budgets, including cost planning and control throughout the project's duration.
• Ensure projects remain within budget by monitoring and managing expenses.
• Prepare tender documents and handle the tendering process.
• Assess and analyze tender submissions, negotiating with contractors and suppliers to secure the best value.
• Draft and review contracts, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
• Manage contract changes, claims, and disputes in collaboration with legal and project management teams.
• Conduct detailed cost estimates for proposed projects and provide feasibility studies to aid decision-making.
• Analyze and forecast project costs, identifying potential risks and creating mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular valuations of work in progress and prepare detailed cost reports.
• Deliver accurate and timely reports to senior management, highlighting any financial risks or issues.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between various departments and external contractors.
• Identify and evaluate project risks, developing and implementing risk management strategies.
• Monitor and report on risk factors throughout the project lifecycle.

skills & experiences required

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Proven experience in a similar contracts management role within the property development industry
• Possesssing a means of transport will be advantageous as this role will require periodic travelling to Johor and other project sites in Klang Valley.
