Randstad is recruiting for an assistant accountant to join one of our valued infrastructure clients on the Gold Coast.
This is an ongoing temporary full time role for a minimum of 6 months. You will be working alongside the financial lead, accountant and an assistant accountant.

Key duties -
- Claim and financial reconciliations processing
- project accounting
- Assisting with journal preparation, cost allocation, and other month end duties
- Managing invoice approval process and good receipting in Ariba
- Additional reporting as required
- Raising purchase orders
Skills/experience required
- proven experience in the Assistant Accountant role or similar
- Experience in PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF highly desired
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- CPA or studying towards highly desired however not essential
