about the job
... - Bill customers on a timely basis; record payments and reconcile using Accounting Software
- End of the month reconciliation
- Collate supplier invoices into regular payment runs, streamlining payment processes wherever possible
- Reconcile all intercompany / subsidiary accounts
- End of Financial Year reconciliations and reporting
- Prepare project progress reports and claims
- Assist with Month end process and reporting
- Analyse variations to original budget and track costs spend to date and cost to complete
about the manager / team
This role reports into the Financial Controller. There are 3 Senior Accountants and 3 Bookkeepers within the team. Career progression and longevity is encouraged within the organization.
skills & requirements for the job
To succeed in this role you should possess a Degree in Accounting or related fields, with minimum 2 years of local Australian finance and accounting experience. This role is well-suited for somebody who is a strong team player, ambitious to learn and progress, resilient and with a good sense of humour.
