As an assistant accountant in this role you will:

• Support the overall accounting and bookkeeping functions including accounts payable and receivable
• Capture and maintain master data information (creditors, debtors, assets) and verify supporting documents for validity, accuracy and completeness, and the payments and/or receipts in the accounting system 
• Perform General Ledger reconciliations (including bank, suspense accounts, transitional accounts)
• Perform month end accounts closure processes
• Assist the issuance, recording, reconciliation, replenishment, safeguard and accounting of petty cash

2 -3 years of similar experience

• University degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration or similar degree
• SAP experience will be considered as a plus
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office, including advanced use of Excel
• Proactive, resourceful, solutions oriented and results-oriented
• Able to prioritize work, multi-task and meet deadlines
• Communication with internal and external parties in a collaborative, positive manner
• Fluent in Greek and English (oral and written)
